Macaran Printed Products, a Cohoes, NY-based third-generation supplier of labels and packaging, announced that Thomas Faugno has joined the company as business development manager effective immediately.

In this newly created role, Faugno will work closely with Macaran executive vice president Tom Sargent. He will be responsible for introducing Macaran to new customers within core markets, 
 pursuing new market opportunities, and will take on various special commercial projects in an effort to increase Macaran’s presence in the label and packaging industry throughout North America.

With more than 35 years of experience, Faugno has held leadership roles in the label and 
packaging industry including most recently as executive VP of sales at Spear, USA. In this position, he managed the company’s global sales force and customer service group, and was critical in 
increasing sales to over $200 million before the company was sold.
